Snappy Chef, South Africa. The best induction cooker with the best service.

A lady friend of mine who is also a pensioner, used a Snappy Chef induction plate to cook on for plus minus eight years when it suddenly packed up. I contacted Snappy Chef and explained to them that she had used it for many years and that was the only means she had to cook something but also does not have a lot of money to pay for repairs. They said to me I should not worry and arranged for it to be picked up some 340 km from them. The following day they let me know that the motherboard was faulty and had to be replaced and everything was in working order and she only had to pay for the delivery back to her. When she got it back we noticed that the settings which started at 80 degrees Celsius did not increase by 10 degrees as with the old one but went up in 20 degree levels at a time. As she cooks many things at 90 and 110 degrees it posed a huge problem. I contacted them again and they explained to me that the new motherboards only increase at 20 degree levels but agreed to have another look at the Snappy Chef. A few days later we received it back and we could not believe that it worked. 80, 90, 100, 110 degrees.... onward. We were super excited about this fact and sent them a big Thank You note. When I inquired about the repair costs, they said it was free because of her situation of being a pensioner and without funds. The only fee that she had to pay was for the first delivery back to her. Now, that in my opinion cannot be improved on. It is the best repair service that I have ever experienced in my life. As for the product, it matches their service.
