Taken away my new car and my holiday. Lucky to be alive
On the 23rd of December 2020 at about 260km out of Bloemfontein on the way to our Christmas destination my new vehicle was damaged by what appeared to be a retread tyre that came off a Premier Milling Truck. The truck registration was DV12KBGP. The truck driver at no stage offered any apologies, asked if we needed medical care, care hire or even bothered to come to our vehicle and get our contact details. We had no choice but to continue in the vehicle that was no longer roadworthy to our en route destination. The 24th of December 2020 we contacted Premier Milling customer care and emailed all our details. To date we still have had no response from Premier Milling. This is disgusting as we have been inconvenienced in so many ways -my new vehicle has been damaged, is now unroadworthy and our Christmas holiday has been ruined. We have witnesses whose vehicle was also damaged by the truck driver. Posted by Shelton Manuel on behalf of his mother - Wendy Pretorius
