Overpromised, underdelivered and completely unreliable
My experience with Smiths Motorsport was extremely disappointing. After paying them and waiting a year and a half, I eventually had to make the difficult decision to collect my vehicle unfinished and have it repaired elsewhere. Throughout the process, communication was extremely poor. Commitments were repeatedly missed, and I was constantly given excuses and assurances that proved untrue. In my experience, they consistently overpromised, underdelivered and misled me about the progress of my vehicle. Parts they claimed they replaced where never replaced - The parts that were replaced were replaced with cheap genereic parts after being told they replaced them with geniune OEM parts I would not recommend Smiths Motorsport to anyone who values honesty, accountability and professional service.

Smith's Motorsport Dishonesty
WARNING!!! Please do NOT take your vehicles to these people!!! They make you pay for work that they claim has been done, but it was never actually done! Our Land Cruiser was with them for more than a month. Every time we asked when it would be finished, there were just more excuses. We eventually went to collect the vehicle when Adriaan said it was ready, only to discover that they had not replaced the clutch or fixed the turbo — this was confirmed by Toyota themselves. They also refuse to give us an invoice for the work that was already paid for at the beginning of February! Now suddenly, when they realize that we are not as uninformed as they thought, the father wants to come fetch the vehicle himself and fix it. Under no circumstances will they ever touch any of our vehicles again!
