TERRIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICE

Over the past year or so we have had 3 Smeg appliances pack up on us. Its not so much the fact that they packed up but rather that the after sales service is appalling. We were given quotes which were accepted and the repairs were paid for. Then the wait started. After about 6 months the repairman repaired the stove but wanted another R 5000 to repair the coffee machine after paying him R 3000 initially for this. We declined. Then the microwave packed up and we have been waiting 5 months since we paid for this repair. The repairman was recommended by Smeg as it seems that they do not have their own.
