So disappointed with this product which seems more about looks than quality

I wouldn't recommend Smeg. We have the fridge and electric cooker. And they have been such a disappointment. The fridge made a humming noise for years that Smeg couldn't fix. And the oven is just not great quality, not hardy. It's hard to clean and now air leaks and we need it serviced. The gas is a negotiation to turn on each time. I feel that they are more concerned with design than excellent product. There are other brands that look similar to the cooker - I would do that now.
