SMEG - worst washing machine ever

I bought a brand new SMEG front loader washing machine from Hirsch's in Strubensvalley in January 2021 for R8 500.

In October 2024 I had to spend R2800 to replace a part in the outlet system.

Two weeks ago the machine broke down again. The main PC board, motor and motor pc board needs replacement. I was quoted R10 584 to replace the parts.

On query Smeg agreed to replace the motor under warranty but says it cannot be proven the motor was the reason for the PC boards failing as well. New quote to replace the boards is R7 822.

I will rather buy anything else than spend another cent on this piece of junk.

I'm done with SMEG for life.
