SMEG - Worst purchase ever!

I purchased a SMEG gas stove/oven from Hirsch on 22 October 2016, and paid R16,640.00 for it. The stove came with a guarantee. I was invited to take out insurance as well, which I did. I was covered for three years for breakages. After approximately three months, the oven started cutting out for no apparent reason, while in use. I contacted Hirsch early in 2017 and alerted them of the problem. Hirsch sent out a technician, who informed me that the element was defective and had to be replaced. He did not replace it, however. A day or two later a certain Dianne from Smeg phoned and told me as the unit was still under guarantee, Smeg will have a look at the problem. SMEG sent out a technician who bent something in the oven. Thereafter the oven worked, but it returned about three months later. I tried to manage with the defective oven, but gave up in 2018. I contacted Hirsch again to complain. A technician (one Lucky) was sent out by them (not by SMEG). He made adjustments to the oven. The problem returned in 2019. I contacted Hirsch again and they sent out a person (Ludwig from QUICKGAS) who also made an adjustment to the oven. This did not solve the problem of the oven cutting out. Now there was a smell of gas as well. This time I contacted both Hirsch and SMEG to complain. Certain Alan was sent out by SMEG on 8th August 2019. He also just made adjustments to the oven. Within two weeks the problem returned. On 9th September 2019 I communicated to Hirsch and spoke to Michelle. I informed her that I that I wish to cancel the contract and claim the purchase back. She placated me, and promised that the oven will be fixed. Two technicians came to inspect the stove on 10th September 2019. I was not present, but I was informed that they merely wrote down the Serial number of the stove/oven, and did nothing else. On 17th September 2019, Lucky was sent out again. He fiddled with the stove. The problem remained unresolved. I communicated my displeasure to Hirsch repeatedly: On 23 September, 26 September, 29 September, 3 October, 10 October, 11 October, 15 October 2019. On 18 October I spoke to Michelle again. She requested that I forward my invoices to her, which I did. On 21st October 2019, certain Andre arrived. He wanted to know whether parts of the oven were replaced. I said I did not know. He left to go and established what had been done to the stove. On 25 October a technician replaced a part in the oven. In mid-November the problem returned. I am disgusted with the stove and the fact that nobody appears to be able to fix it. A SMEG gas stove does not come cheaply. At the price, one would expect problems with the stove would be rectified without delay. Based on my experience, I believe that the stove has a factory fault which cannot be rectified, or that the technicians in the employ of Hirsch and SMEG are not qualified to work on the stoves.
