SMEG stove rusted

We bought a SMEG gas stove from Hirsch in Ballito 10 years ago and the service from Hirsch was and always will be good. The SMEG stove is the best that one can buy. However 10 years later the oven door has rusted panels that will have to be replaced. I understand that the warranty has expired but one does not expect this from a SMEG stove. Why only the oven door when the rest of the stove is as good as new? I first approached SMEG without any favorable solution and then I approached HIRSCH with no luck either. My point is DO NOT BUY A SMEG STOVE WHEN YOU LIVE ON THE COAST
