Smeg poor quality

I wish I had read the Smeg reviews before getting involved with Smeg. Apart from a number of failures of various components of my Smeg stove, I am now told that I have to pay R1400 for a new front panel that shows the various settings of the burners and oven. The painted-on markings have simply rubbed off. As many other customers have complained - you pay a fortune for a so-called premium brand, then you get such ******* and you get ********** for any spares that you need. I would have been no worse off buying the cheapest Chinese stove. Smeg is actually ******* - just saying.
