SMEG major appliances reliability.

In 2019 I purchased three major SMEG kitchen appliances. So far (within the guarantee period) all three items have failed at least once. All the items were always very carefully operated under clean conditions.

- Dishwasher has failed twice (lower spray arms then upper spray arm) - Fridge freezer stopped cooling - Gas stove top igniters failed.

SMEG appliances look good and are expensive. However it is apparent that the reliability is very poor. The problem is compounded because the local SMEG company does not maintain a proper stock of spare parts. Most disappointing.
