Smeg kettle paint damage

My wife bought a Smeg whistling kettle.

We used it about to 20 times, and 1 of the sides has showed damage to the paint.

We are very disappointed, seeing as the kettle was R3000 and we contacted Smeg about it. They said, there is no reason to replace the whistling kettle as it's user abuse.

We literally used the kettle about 20 times, and only 1 side shows damage.

This shows that they are selling overpriced ****, that isn't practical at all.
