Smeg kettle paint bubble

I bought a SMEG kettle from Hirsch Umhlanga last year February or March. The kettle has a bubbled paint on the top next to its opening. I hardly ever use the kettle as I have a coffee machine and I stay alone. I am hardly at home as my work makes me to travel a lot. This is totally unacceptable as I do not have the receipt for it anymore. It's supposed to have a 2 year warranty. I'm very disappointed with the brand.
