Smeg after sales service

I have 2 smeg ovens and stoves. Spent 40k. Brand looks good and seemed to have a presence in SA as it is sold in many top-end stores. Had a nightmare trying to fix my oven even with technicians recommended by Smeg HO. Treat you like a dog and make you wait for more than 3 weeks after asking for payment UP FRONT. They dont support their own products and use only ********* sub-contractors. I have also had more trouble with this oven that our old Defy which lasted over 20 years. Last time. Be careful. All that glitters is not Gold. Products are only as good as their after sales service
