Poor quality cookers

I purchased a has/electric cooker and in a short time, watched my very expensive cooker deteriorate. I purchased another oven and SMEG., cannot even find the part numbers for it. I believe that SMEG is intent on selling inferior product with high prices and would not encourage anyone to buy a smeg product.
