Do not buy SMEG! Appaling lack o customer service

We have bought a SMEG dishwasher in December 2018. It is now giving a "Water pump-out malfunction" error. The machine has a 36 month warranty, so we are well within the warranty period. Yesterday, I phoned SMEG THREE times, in an attempt to log a repair request. Strangely, instead of just logging a request, I was told that I will be called back, in order to log the request. No one ever did call back, or bothered to respond to my e mail (for which I received a delivery receipt), so after an extremely frustrating day and lots of effort on my side, I haven't even been able to log the fault... Although the SMEG is the best dishwasher I've ever had (when it worked), this complete lack of customer service and no care attitude will ensure that I never buy SMEG again. If they really are so busy with repairs that they are unable to call me back, I am also very concerned about the quality of their products.
