CHEAP QUALITY

I bought a toaster, kettle and blender from SMEG.

1. The kettle started leaking into the base (where the electrical connection is). 2. The toaster dial stopped turning. 3. The indicators and branding on all wore off (cant tell which speed/setting is which on the blender).

I've taken the toaster in to SMEG to be fixed. The response is that they CANNOT fix it. So now it's now a useless paperweight.

Their communication is awful as well. I asked for a response in writing but got some excuse about the person not having my email address (which I gave them when booking the appliance in). This is the Cape Town CBD service branch.

These are cheap quality products. I've never had these problems with much cheaper brands.
