Brand new oven top tarnishing, going brown!

<p>I had the top replaced with an original top from Smeg, after the **** scratched it when she cleaned it. Within a month the thing turned brown, Smeg came and polished the top and said they wont replace it, I have to polish it to keep it from tarnishing! Two weeks later after they polished it is started discoloring again, without even being used! They refuse to replace it even though the original top I purchased it with never tarnished. Smeg's warranty and service is not much to be desired! Cant believe they expect their clients to polish their stove tops as they discolor without use!!!!!! really!!!! what a cheap ****py product, I wish Id purchased a proper oven instead of this overrated, overpriced Smeg ****. </p>
