Bad quality product

Good day. I would like to express my utter disappointment in Smeg's products. I received a pink kettle as a gift from my mom and the paint is busy coming off. It made a big bubble at first and then paint starting coming of. We already e mailed smeg with a photo and that was 3 days ago, still no reply. I'm seriously starting to doubt the quality of Smeg's products.
