Bad customer service

Why doesn't Smeg share troubleshootimg guidelines to their customers for its products, why is that they instead prefer to come through and fix issues that can be resolved through troubleshooting. A call out fee is almost R700 where do we as customers get such a fee every time we have issues with Smeg products. I called the service centre yesterday requesting for troubleshooting guidelines, the lady instead suggested that they should send a technician. Please Smeg provide troubleshooting to customers! I have a dishwasher that has indicator lights that keep bleeping
