All companies should be like SMEG when there's a warranty claim

Recently had an issue with our Smeg dryer while we were out of SA. A few weeks later on our return our house help informed us of the problem. When we informed Smeg they assessed the unit and found the main control board was busted so wanted to know if it was still under warranty. Although the warranty had expired the kind consultant continued doing the repair in good faith and we didn't have to pay for it.
