SKYWORTH SMART TV

I bought a skyworth 49" smart TV on 04/05/2019. When I got home and tested the tv's function I noticed that it does not connect with my external harddrive which has its own power supply. I went back to the store the day after and the salesman could not answer me why the tv cannot connect to a external harddrive. Upon phoning the headoffice for Skyworth I was informed the Skyworth and Sinotech is the same product contrary to what the saleman told me before I purchased the TV. I spoke to two gentlemen, Jan en Jaco and both didnt have a clue what the problem could be instead were saying its something wrong with my harddrive ( That is wprking perfectly well on my other Tv's). Jaco did not want the admit that the TV could not play the harddrive but agreed that I can rather give the TV if I am unhappy with it. Their service is very poor. I left a message for the head of the support department Pingting and he never called me back. I would not advice anyone to buy this TV because its sinotech branded as Skyworth selling for much more.
