WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING SKYWORKS – THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING A CONTRACT

WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING SKYWORKS – THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING A CONTRACT

My experience with Skyworks should seriously concern anyone considering signing a contract with them.

I contacted them because I wanted a problem with my Wi-Fi fixed. Their support person hung up on me, which the director later acknowledged after listening to the call recording.

Yes, I became angry and frustrated. But I NEVER asked them to cancel my contract.

The director then phoned me and told me HE was going to cancel my service. I asked him to put his reasons in writing.

Instead of giving me the written explanation I requested, they simply disconnected my Wi-Fi.

Who gives a company the right to treat a contract like this? Apparently, when a customer has a serious disagreement with Skyworks, they believe they can simply decide they no longer want you as a customer and switch you off.

And to make matters worse — they have already taken my next payment.

So this is my warning to potential customers:

Think very carefully before entering into a contract with Skyworks.

A contract should protect BOTH parties. A customer should be able to complain, get angry about terrible service and demand answers without wondering whether a director will simply decide to cancel their service.

I have now formally disputed the cancellation and asked them to either restore my service immediately or put in writing exactly why they believe they are entitled to terminate my contract.

I wanted my Wi-Fi fixed. Instead, Skyworks cancelled my service.

That is how my complaint was handled.

Absolutely unacceptable.
