DSTV INSTALLERS *******

This is my communications with the the guy Called Denzel whom I contracted to repair my dstv signal, he sent his installers to rip me off but now says he does not work with them any longer? message to Denzel "Hi Denzel, hope is good with you. I am not happy with the way in which the repair to the dstv signal went down. The installer went on the roof his immediate comments were that coaxial cable was rusted. The next thing is he gets a new LNB and I showed him that I already have a new one as I mentioned to you, his response is that he can't use it as it is the wrong frequency then without giving me a price he proceeded to install one of his LNB's Secondly, he struggled to fasten the bolt and nut on the LNB bracket as he did not get up high enough on the roof to do the work safely and conveniently and I am not convinced that the bolt is properly tightened. The cable at the lnb was not secured by cable ties which means it is going blow around in the wind that will cause a problem in time. Then the installer trimmed the coaxial cable end and refitted the connector, he used a scissor as a tool to trim the coaxial which as an engineer I can't understand why not use proper tools? I asked for the so called damaged the lnb as I wanted to return it to the supplier as it is only 5 months old but the installer said it was broken and proceeded to push his thumb thru the plastic moisture cover in the front of the unit rendering it useless to return to supplier? This action of damaging the old unit was cause for concern and so I contacted Switch the suppliers of LNB approved by multichannel and they assure me that the claim of me having an LNB which is of the wrong frequency is *******, I will be sending the damaged unit to them for testing to confirm if the lnb is faulty or not? I believe that the work done is unprofessional and I did not have to pay R475 for an lnb as already had one that is suitable for the job. Kindly revert back to me ASAP so that we can have some resolve to this matter. Thanks Lional"
