Poor quality Skullcandy headphones

Over the last year or do I’ve bought two sets of Skullcandy headphones of which both sets have broken as the plastic becomes so brittle. Surely a product this expensive should be quality and not break so easily. I’m really disappointed especially now we’re in lockdown and stuck and need these things more than ever.
