Please be aware of ******** using skrill as the secure banking app to transfer funds. They are particularly using gumtree as the ******** platform. A guy by the name of Christopher Smit contacted me via WhatsApp and requested to email him if the piano was still available. The emails back and forth then requested me to make a payment to shoprite or checkers for the pick up agent that will collect the piano and as soon as this is done skrill will then transfer the money for the piano and the pick up agent into my account, he then requested proof of this payment and the pin to be sent to skrill. Alarm bells went off Immediately and I checked hello peter and there were numerous reviews about this happening to people that have been ****med, most of this in February 2021.
