Unsatisfactory Experience with Skills Academy

I enrolled in Skills Academy to complete my Grade 12 Physical Sciences and Mathematics.

As a slow learner, I made my needs clear during the registration process and was assured that the necessary accommodations would be made.

When I asked about the duration allowed for completing my studies and what would happen if I couldn't finish within the timeframe, I was told I had a year and could continue into the next year without additional costs if needed. This assurance was crucial in my decision to enroll.

However, today, after reaching out to a tutor for help, I received an email stating that my account had expired and I needed to pay to reinstate it. Throughout the year, I was never informed that my account was nearing expiry or that there would be additional costs involved. To make matters worse, I was repeatedly asked when I would make the payments for my studies, which added unnecessary pressure and confusion.

Additionally, I have experienced significant delays in receiving tutor assistance. I was shuffled between various tutors and told that the tutor who initially assisted me no longer worked there. To add to the confusion, tutors who were previously said to have left reappeared after a month or two, while the current tutor was said to no longer be available. This inconsistency and lack of communication have severely disrupted my learning process.

I find this entire experience to be highly unprofessional and contrary to the initial information provided to me. The lack of communication, sudden imposition of fees, and inconsistent tutor support have caused undue stress and disruption to my studies.
