Skills Academy is useless.

Skills Academy has given me so much unnecessary stress. They are horrible at communication and has caused me to have to extend studying because of their inconsistent and poor support.

They sent me the incorrect textbooks 3 times and then wanted to charge me for buying the correct ones and charge me for extending my studying period by 6 months. It was their fault I was too late to submit assignments and did not meet deadlines. They keep on referring to their "Supply Chain department" but refuse for me to speak directly to "supply chain'. It was a big struggle to tell them that my study material and assignments do not match and that they must rectify it, which they did eventually. After assuring me I have the correct study material and assignments, the examination ended up being a complete nightmare, because it turned out I had in fact not had the correct books. Which meant that about 30% of my examination I wrote on general knowledge.

They have not given me any student support and their internal processes are a mess. There has been no clear communication regarding examinations or study material. I have had more help from the exam center than from Skills Academy regarding subjects.

I also found out a week before my examinations started that there are 2 question papers for one subject which I knew nothing about! I had not made provision for an extra day off from work and had to make special arrangements for this.

I am glad if other students have had a pleasant experience with them, but I have had nothing short of a nightmare!
