Life -Threatening - Pending Authorisation

I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea, all the tests were done accordingly, according to the Dr.P.W. Nieuwoudt, the specialist N.Marx and the report of the studies that was done my situation is life-threatening and very critical, Dr.P.W. Nieuwoud also explained in his motivation letter that I have early signs of cardiomyopathy. I am always tired and never feel that I have rested enough and lately it’s getting worse, I also have hypertension; I am still young but yet I have no energy I feel eighty years old, my work is also getting affected, my life is already affected and I wish to have children but with my case, Dr.P.W. Nieuwoud explained that my body is not getting enough oxygen as it is whilst I sleep and that I won’t be able to have a normal pregnancy, my health condition is only going to worsen and eventually, this would cost the medical aid more. This is very upsetting, I have a medical aid that is costing me thousands of rand monthly but when it comes to life threatening they "must follow protocal" and I have to rent the machine myself or buy the CPAP machine myself then after a 3 month report they will decide whether they will consider funding a portion of the machine, I don’t have the money to buy such an expensive machine, I pay a lot of money to my medical aid monthly and renting is out of the question because the machine must get calibrated and the nasal pipe and face fitting must get bought they don’t re use such items , yet its life-threatening to me and very critical, surely if this is my diagnoses why is the medical aid making it so hard to assist me, I don’t understand why I should fight for the machine, the machine is not a thing that you could buy off a shelve it’s an instrument that needs to be calibrated according to my diagnoses, the medical aid pays for sugar test machines, other devices, medicine and hospitalisation and more but they want me to rent the machine myself on my own costs and then only they will consider if the medical aid would pay for the device/ instrument. I am in real need of someone's assistance with regards to my situation, any help would be much appreciated.
