Simply Pathetic Glengarry

<p>We entering Simply Asia Glengarry and not one of the staff acknowledged us, so we proceeded to a table, as there were several available. After 10 minutes of no one making contact, we asked for a menu. The reply was: 'Are you ready to order?' I repeated my request for a menu and 5 minutes later had to call the waiter to ask to take my order. We ordered 1 x Sweetcorn cakes, 1 x Fried Noodles and 1 x 514 Chicken. 15 minutes later the hostess emerged to ask what we had ordered :( Another waitress, who had previously ignored our attempts to ask for service, followed to ask very sweetly if we were ok. 30minutes after placing our order we got the Sweetcorn cakes and was told the rest of the order is on it's way. A further 15 minutes later I asked where the food was and was told that it would be another 10 minutes. I told the waiter Elwin, that I was cancelling the rest of the order as waiting 45 minutes for food is unacceptable. He went to the till, presumably to cash up my bill and disappeared to the kitchen. He came back to tell me the food isn't going to be ready soon and I should rather cancel my order. I informed him that I had already cancelled and am waiting for my bill to settle the Corn cakes. He made noises about being so sorry about the experience. As I was leaving to pay, a waitress went to explain to another patron who had been there for the same amount of time that they didn't have any cooked rice to serve with her meal! Absolutely ludicrous!!! That's over an hour that we'll never get back and left hungry when wanting to enjoy a healthy alternative to takeout.</p>
