Wate of time

Not pleasant at all.
Whilst sitting in the restaurant, whilst I write this review. The aervice is below par. Slow and unattentive. Starter susbi was quick to arrive.ains areived in 2 stints. Has to ask the waiteon what happemed to my meal, as my husband already received his. My meal arived eventually: fried egg on the grill to long, the rice was too wet, although it tasted like basil rice. Not pleasant at all

Pathetic service and blatant lie
Me and my husband went to simply Asia in Mall@55 today for lunch. We ordered 514 and 265 for lunch. I had enough points and wanted to redeem them and asked for assistance at the store. However we were told that the loyalty points can’t be used in store. Only online use is allowed and it’s been like that for a long time. This was not true at all. We couldn’t use our points and had to settle the full bill. We were clearly **** to by the staff. Completely pathetic and unprofessional.

Me and my husband went to simply Asia in Mall@55 today for lunch. We ordered 514 and 265 for lunch. I had enough points and wanted to redeem them and asked for assistance at the store. However we were told that the loyalty points can’t be used in store. Only online use is allowed and it’s been like that for a long time. This was not true at all. We couldn’t use our points and had to settle the full bill. We were clearly **** to by the staff. Completely pathetic and unprofessional.

Oily food and undercooked potatoes
On May 19, 2026, I ordered four Massaman curries from your Plattekloof branch. As a loyal patron for over four years - to the point where your staff recognize us as regulars - I was incredibly disappointed and upset by the quality of our food. The meals were noticeably oily, the potatoes were undercooked and hard, and the curry sauce was bright orange, which is far from the usual standard we expect. Interestingly, the restaurant only had about three sit-down customers at the time, meaning the kitchen was not overwhelmed with orders. Given how poor this experience was, we are hesitant to order from your stores again. I have photographs of the food as proof and would appreciate your feedback on how this will be addressed.

On May 19, 2026, I ordered four Massaman curries from your Plattekloof branch. As a loyal patron for over four years - to the point where your staff recognize us as regulars - I was incredibly disappointed and upset by the quality of our food. The meals were noticeably oily, the potatoes were undercooked and hard, and the curry sauce was bright orange, which is far from the usual standard we expect. Interestingly, the restaurant only had about three sit-down customers at the time, meaning the kitchen was not overwhelmed with orders. Given how poor this experience was, we are hesitant to order from your stores again. I have photographs of the food as proof and would appreciate your feedback on how this will be addressed.

Terrible food at Brooklyn
Worst experience at the Brooklyn branch ever. Ordered various dishes for my family of 5 with duck as the main protein, just to open the containers and be met with a sight that looked like oval. Taste was terrible and not worth the price. I can cook a better dish. If this is the standards you have, I suggest you just close down. Please should just avoid Simply Asia rather.

Simply Asia Durbanville- **** service
Will never place an uber order with them again. Treat uber drivers badly and take over an hour from order placement to collection . Wont even frequent the restaurant any longer.
