Expectations not met regarding waiting time for food

I called in to order (as I would pick up myself) and I was told that my food would take 40mins. I ended up waiting a whole hour for my food you be done and handed to me. When I asked how much longer the food would take, the waitress just checked my order and went to the kitchen. She did not come back to inform me. I had to ask a different waitress, and insisted that they let me know. Really disappointed with the service at Simply Asia Plattekloof. I understand that you are busy, but rather manage expectations upfront by exaggerating the waiting time (and hopefully over-delivering.
