Warranty not worth the paper it is written on

Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on as it basically covers Simmons under every aspect and I cannot see how anyone, unless they keep the delivery plastic on and sleep hovering above the bed, would ever be able to make a warranty claim. They refuse to repair my mattress as it has a tea stain on it. The springs are popping out the side of the mattress and I am happy to pay for a repair but they will not touch it for hygienic reasons I am told. The tea penetrated the padded protector and after seven years one has to presume there would be some kind of wear and tear on a mattress. If you decide to buy a Simmons just know that the guarantee and warranty are not worth anything at all unless you actually do not use the mattress!!! Buyers be warned and read that fine print!!! Customer services said I can basically throw my mattress away as they will not touch it!
