R25,000 bed USELESS after 6 years!!!

<p>I bought a Simmons Beauty Rest bed for R25,000 in 2010, and now the mattress is caving in. I laid a complaint at Dial-a-Bed and they requested that Simmons inspects the bed. Two inspectors took a look and confirmed that indeed it is due to a factory fault and I will need to replace the mattress. Simmons contacted me and informed me as the 2-year warranty has expired, I now need to pay R11,000 and they will replace the mattress for me. SURELY a bed that costs R25,000 should last longer than 6 years???? My Seally Pasturepedic never gave me any issues and I had them for longer than 12 years!!</p>
