SHIELD FRESH24 CAR AIR FRESHNER CAUSES DAMAGE

I purchased the above car air freshener for my vehicle and <br> installed it exactly as per instructions . After installation a drop or two of the contents fell onto my vehicles gearbox selection switch situated directly below the rear view mirror .(selecting Sport or Comfort mode)<br> I immediately wiped it of but to my dismay I noticed the following day that the plastic coating and lettering on the switch was all crumpled and wrinkled and eventually the coating fell off.<br> I now sit with a monstrosity of a white button which totally spoil the inside of my vehicle<br> A substance as destructive as this should be CLEARLY marked as damaging to certain surfaces (not hidden in fine print on the back of the packaging)<br> <br> I emailed Shield chemicals re this matter on Monday 4 Jan 2014 and attached photos of the damage . I received automated confirmation via email that my mail was read the same afternoon by Lance Clark , Charles Bruwer as well as Jayson Clark . Two days later I had no response from Shield Chem acknowledging receipt of my mail or stating that they are attending to the matter . Nothing but silence<br> <br> <br> <br>
