Staff with arrogant and bad attitudes and non existing client service - THIS REVIEW IS A MUST READ

<p>On Sunday, 30 July 2017 we went into the Mimosa Mall Sheet street branch to look for a duvet cover for our King Size bed which we purchased and are waiting for to be delivered. Upon seeing only one duvet cover that would best match our colour scheme, my husband approached the lady at the till to ask if she can check if they have a king size duvet cover of that type in any other branches in SA. she did not even attempt to find out and just said to my husband "they were only a trial run, there is no other stock" - now please forgive me but can somebody really be that uninterested in their job to just assume no other branches in an entire country don't have stock? To top it all off, a very arrogant other staff member who "offered to help" still had the cheek to demotivate us so badly to the point where I actually regretted buying my new bed. she told us that the king size bedding wont fit and that we will need to go and purchase super king bedding at kloppers, woolworths or @home and went as far as to say to my husband "you should have done better research" SERIOUSLY???? Am I totally mental or am I correct in saying that it is totally ********* to make a client so demotivated, to have the cheek to say that we should have done better research? are we the first people EVER to buy a King size bed???????? My husband was so furious he wanted to slap her. we walked out there not purchasing a single thing. upon sending sheet street a message on facebook and posting on their wall, I was just told to email them. they responded saying an agent will work on the case. then I was informed the area manager will take it further and contact me. Today is 3rd August - no call, no email, no attempt to assist me in finding out if there is possibly any of that stock ANYWHERE in South Africa - just dead silence. I am absolutely gobsmacked that a company so large can treat their customers like this and allow their staff to treat customers like this. Sheet Street should be ashamed of themselves!!!</p>
