Southgate Sheet Street, Sheet.

I am out of words as to the customer service i received at Sheet Street Southgate this morning for simply returning a wall mirror i bought the previous day and noticed it when opening at home that it had defects on the mirror glass. The cashier who assisted me the previous day did not wrap it with a bubble wrap maybe because it was well packaged with a backing box and plastic front. Now its me returning the mirror so early in the morning, i asked first from the cashier Nkuli if i should queue since i wanted to make an exchange and she says yes. Called the store manager Mokgethoa, i explained that the glass has a defect and i am suspecting it could have been a factory error. Did she not tell me i cannot return it otherwise it will be a loss to their shop. I asked if now i should bear the loss as a customer. She collected almost all the mirrors on the shop floor same one as the one i bought and asked me if i see one that has a defect. I pointed out a few that had defects, she agreed with me but returned the whole lot back to the shelf. I searched for myself now for the one mirror similar to the one i am returning. Fortunately i found one with less noticiable defects and now protested that i should have an exchange of an item processed. Was i not humiliated in front of other customers. One white lady next to me was doing an exchange also, her transaction was done quickly without her being questioned. Then the cashier Cecilia who was assisting the white lady was laughing at me, stuck her tongue out for me and showed me her hand infront of other customers, colleaugues and the store manager Mokgethoa. The service i received was inhumane, violated my customer rights and my human dignity to say the least. I won't rest until i see Cecelia and Mokgethoa who are representing your brand out of that store in Southgate. I want to escalate the matter to the consumer protector and human rights court. Cecelia even pulled down her face mask to stick out her tongue for me, further violating the covid protocols.

I am still waiting for the Mr Price group to provide me with feedback on their investigations for the post above, the incident happened in one of their stores Sheet Street Southgate where my customer and human rights were violated on 21/12/2021 right inside the store by a store attendant and the store manager in full view of other customers. How long more should i wait? There is no way my human dignity that was st********** inside one of your stores by your staff members will be restored. I am still traumatised. Cecilia and her store manager Mokgethoa must be shown the door to learn a lesson they will never forget. Do justice to my case and your brand.
