I went to Mimosa Sheet Street my daughter was so excited I was running late to catch a bus. To my surprise the service there was less to be desired. I'm not sure if it was the color of my skin or the was I was dressed that encouraged Essie the store manager to decide that I wasn't important enough to be helped on my turn. The other white lady came in while I was on que and she was taken to be helped personally by the manager while it was my turn to be helped. She looked straight in my eyes with such disrespect and forced the cashier to help that customer instead of me. I honestly wanted to loose it but my daughter was not going to see such from me. Retail shops really don't have the updated constitution. Old lady need to learn how to treat customers of color. I'm greatly disappointed and mostly hurt to be treated like that to a place where I was going to leave my hard earned money the same way the white person has.
