Mislead with my purchase

I purchased what was suppose to be a Queen size duvet cover for winter in December at the sheet street in liberty mall Pietermaritzburg. I did not put the duvet cover on my bed as I had purchased it for winter as it's one of those warm duvet covers. A few days ago when I opened the cover to place for my bed to my surprise the cover was for a double bed and not a queen as marked on your packaging and on the till slip. Now I am told the return policy is 14 days, yes I understand that but in my case it is the store that sold an item with misleading information on the packaging I had paid for a queen size duvet the slip says that and the package label I did not open when bought as I had no intentions of not using this should what your label package was not misleading.
