Inexcusable behaviour of a shop assistant

27 May 2018. Sheet Street Eastgate. I wanted to purchase curtains from Sheet Street, Eastgate and firstly Zamantsungwe, told me there is no group card for sheet street. She said I have to obtain a Sheet Street Card. When I got to the pay point. My son pointed out to me that there was a Mr Price emblem on the credit card machine. I enquired with regards to this and Zamantsungwe said they are on the same group and still insisted I can only make my purchase by using a Sheet Street Card, which by the way, I told her I did not have one. This incident took place at 15:13 on 27 May 2018. I confronted Zamantsungwe and told her she is misinformed machine shows Mr Prices card. She did not apologise nor r did she allow me to make the purchase on my Mr Price Card. Instead she laughed at me and I ended up having to pay cash for the items I purchased.

When I went to Mr price, Eastgate a week later. The Cashier informed me that I am allowed to purchase from Sheet Street on my Mr Price Card. I then went back to Sheet Street Eastgate and told the gentleman behind the counter, in the presence of Zamantsungwe, that he should inform & train his staff that customers CAN make purchases using their MR Price store card and Zamantsungwe who was standing there made it clear she knew about it, and laughed again in my face, which I found rather insulting. Needless to say, I shall never again make any purchases from Sheet Street if this is the way the shop assistants treat their customers.

May I suggest Sheet Street, reprimand this lady for her inexcusable behaviour.
