Disappointed with poor quality duvet purchased at Sheet Street store

I purchased a bed in a bag at Sheet Street store at Kenilworth store in Cape Town on the 16th of December 2019. This consisted of a Queen sized Duvet cover, a sheet, 2 standard size pillow cases and 2 small continental pillow cases. At the time it had a reduced to clear sticker on the packaging and I purchased it at the price of R449.00. Since purchasing the Duvet set I had it on my bed twice and I’ve washed it twice. After the wash I noticed that the fabric of the sheet, pillows and duvet started forming little ***** on it that when it was on the bed the fabric felt like it feels when you have grains of sand or crumbs in the bed. I took the duvet set back to Sheet Street in Kenilworth yesterday being the 15th of March 2020. I spoke to Jo-Ann Jantjies who at first said that she couldn’t return my money but could give me a voucher to purchase something else in the store and secondly the store had a returns policy of 60 days. She mentioned that there was no Manager on duty at the store. She then called somebody, I assume her Manager who said that she could return my money but only at the price which is on the system. The price that she found was R189.00. I then told her that I do not agree with their policy as I purchased the Duvet set at the price of R449.00 which means that I would lose out on R260.00. On the back of the receipt is stated that you are welcome to return unused items within 60 days of purchase. In my case the duvet cover was made of an interior quality. There is no mention of returning rejects or goods made of an inferior policy. I am extremely disappointed with the poor quality of the Duvet Cover and is not prepared lose R260.00. I do not want a voucher as this has left a sour taste in my mouth. In fact, I never ever want to purchase anything from Sheet street ever so I do not want a voucher, I want my money back and if this is not resolved ASAP then I’m prepared to take this to the office of the Consumer Protector.
