Curtains: Poor quality

I purchased curtains for my son in April. I decided to wash them over the weekend and followed the instructions. They came out the machine streaked with white. At first I thought it was detergent but after rinsing them again it was worse! The dye is washing out! I am so disappointed at this quality. One wash!
