Bad for business

Today just after 13h00 I went to Sheet Street in the Lephalale Mall to buy a fitted sheet and duvet cover for my daughter. I couldnt buy the sheet due to stock take. I asked when the stock take will be done and the lady behind the counter told me 30min. I left and went back at 16h00. When is got there the lady behind the counter, Makonda(not sure of the spelling) told me I have to come back tomorrow after they told me the stock take will be done in 30min when I was there earlier. I asked the lady(Makonda) why they do stock take in the middle of the day and she just ignored me.

Since when do stock takes take place during the day while the store is open for business?? All the other stores do stock take in the morning before the store open for the day OR they do it once the store is closed for the day OR they close the store earlier NOT in the middle of the day while customers want to buy something.

Other stores put notices on the door a few days prior to the stock take to inform customers that the store will be doing stock take and the store will for example be closing earlier.

It is very bad for business aswell as customer service to do stock take in the middle of the day and tell a customer to come back tomorrow. Also one does not ignore a customer standing in front of you asking you a question.
