Activation fee

When I Opened my account I was informed there will be no extra costs on the account. Which is supper. But I was not informed of the R25 activation fee (which was due end Dec). But the account only arrived on 16 Jan. So when I went to pay this, I had to pay an extra R7.40 for interest as it is now late payment. I feel its unfair as I was not informed of this and received the post too late. I did not query my account on the 7th As the account should have been R0.00. <br> Normally I would close an account in this case. As I feel I have to now pay for something which is not my fault. This sounds like little money, but if it happens to everyone???? how much does that then amount too. Also it IS allot of money to those of us struggling to get through each month. <br> NOT HAPPY, Still deciding on whether im gonna rather close this account.
