No stipend for 3 months

Hi All

I'm writing this review on behalf of my nephew who works under one of the SETA initiatives. He is placed to work at Makhiwane hospital in Mdantsane after they trained them for a couple of months and they stipend they receive is about R2000 or even less and he has not received this money for a full in 3 months and we have been calling and complaining until they closed their offices without him being paid. He went to the offices situated at 3 Elton Road in E. L on the 3rd of December and spoke to a Yanga Matam who then gave him some reference number and promised someone would call him until they close their offices for the December holidays. For the caliber of people they take who are disadvantaged and solely depend on this money 3 months is too much for someone to be reporting for duty every single day having to constantly borrow money to get there and back and nobody seemed to be taking this matter seriously enough. The person he reported to and submitted his time sheets to went on maternity leave and was also not able to assist because it seems no one really knows what to do so to say I am disappointed does not even properly describe the feeling. My nephew watched his colleagues continuously receive their stipends for 3 full months and we kept asking him to be patient because that's what we were being told.

It is absolutely disgusting conduct.
