SELL DIRECT - DON'T DO IT!

Sell Direct Marketing is highly *********! They use the wording "original condition" when it suits them. I wanted to return a unit within the cooling off period and they refused because of a scuff on the box. I swear they deliberately use tape which will cause the cardboard box to scuff when opening so they can use this as an excuse not to have the unit returned. By the reviews it seems many people have "been had" by their t's and c's. Telkom is happy to receive the unit back because they don't have a problem with a scuffed box and have plenty of spare boxes sent by the international manufacturer, however due to the minimal box damage, they'll probably just put tape over it. I can understand from Telkom's point of view that SDM bring in extra revenue, but if I was management I would refuse to work with such a company! Every staff member at the Telkom call centre I have spoken to over the last week have agreed that the name Sell Direct is a swear word to them. If you hear the name Sell Direct,put the phone down! Even their website is says it's not secure!
