Warranty battery

Segen solar rejected my warranty claim on a pylontech battery that gave trouble 5 years before the warranty expired, with the excuse of "that he is overloaded" and blamed my inverter. I had it tested by someone else and his finding was that the BMS was faulty. Am I right in saying the overload has nothing to do with the inverter?
