Segen Solar - Worst experience!

Where do I begin? First off, I hope that the UK branch sees this. It’s a reflection on their brand. I have very little respect for the Segen staff as a whole and have lost all confidence in their ability to even help with repair work. The staff working in the Returns department have a huge chip on their shoulders. They treat customers and installers like *********. A client recently bought a Kodak package via Segen. What was supposed to be a 2 day job installing, ended up being a week of driving and phoning to and fro. First off, the inverter termination block on the output terminal was stripped, so the installation couldn’t be completed. We were told to return the unit for what would literally be a 5 minute repair. Which we did. The customer service was atrocious, the 5 minute job eventually ended up taking 3 days, (with them somehow misplacing the unit in the process / or confusing it with another unit with the same issue- that’s another story for another day) After eventually receiving the inverter, after countless phone calls and emails between Aime and myself, we decided to collect and finish the installation. Now the Kodak battery supp**** with the package, had an alarm and refused to start up. After an in depth video call with Serge from the technical department, he recommended we return the battery and that they test it in front of me using the same setup ( inverter type and battery combo) This is where the fun and games start. We now get treated as if we damaged the battery. Ferai has the worst communicating skills I’ve come across, basically a bull****ter. Malcolm in technical ( so called manager) only manages to not respond to any mails or messages, but I now know why....he is clueless. After many conflicting calls and conversations basically indirectly accusing the client and myself of damaging the battery , we could collect again. This time the unit was hooked up as per package sold. Another guy in the Returns building (very rude) keeps asking if we read the manual. The fun and games start when we insist that they make sure the battery communicates with the inverter. Dip switches gets changed, settings get changed, lies get told but we are not getting to the bottom of error codes. Now they try to get rid of me, as it is apparent that they have not a cooking clue as to what the issue is. They try to shift the blame, they try technical support, they try ************...you name it, all except being courteous and truthful. I show them the manual and all the faults it contains, they shrug it off with a “we will have that sorted” and try and get rid of me. By 3:30 pm the rude guy decides that no testing will be taking place until Monday and starts pulling out cabling and switching off the unit. More lies follow. By now even the security staff know that these guys are clueless. Malcolm let’s out a peep:” we don’t really know the product, since it’s new.” I decide to take the battery and install as we eventually figured that they know even less than we do about this product. By now I’ve already seen what the issues are with the way they conduct business. It’s scary and concerning. First line of defense is accuse the client and the installer. Then lie and intimidate so they won’t find out the truth. There’s a lot of details I’ve left out I sincerely hope Segen UK sees this. If not, I’ll make a note of providing names and an in-depth detailed report containing all the technical details.
