Segen-Solar with wrong technical advice and no refund and no after sale service.

Amathuba Pro is a licensed provider of Solar Systems in Nelspruit. We made use of the service of Segen-Solar as a supplier for solar systems. In September 20220 we ordered a complete system from Segen Solar to the value of R 190 000,00. The technicians of Segen-Solar suggested to make use of Giter batteries with a 8Kva Sunsynk inverter. We bought 4 x 5Kva Giter batteries to the value of R 120 000,00. The batteries did not communicate with the system and was returned to Segen Solar. The batteries were tested and found OK. The batteries were returned to our Company and still did not work. The batteries were returned to Segen again. It is now 5 months. Amathuba Pro had to spend R 120 000,00 to buy 4 x batteries to make the end user (client) happy. Segen returned the batteries to our Company in Nelspruit third time. Up to now Segen-Solar refuse to refund our Company. We are in headlock with Segen Solar and is disappointed in their service. We are out of pocket R 120 000,00 and will start with legal processes. This is expensive and time consuming. Be aware of the wrong information given by there technical team. Also know that once you paid them, you will receive no after sale service and no refund.
