Seeff Sandton is full of ***

Imagine an estate agency that gives their landlord your bank statements (?) only for the same landlord to use this information as a way to contact you privately to do business together. This is an infringement of the POPIA Act; you'd expect Seeff Sandton to know this but they're too imprudent for that.

They're an unprofessional and appalling agency, at the very least. Honestly, they're merely puppets who don't know how to do their jobs ethically because they're controlled by their landlords as a way to retain portfolios and secure income. I've lost count of the number of times I was close to reporting this agency to the Rental Housing Tribunal during my lease agreement with them.

Yolandi was a great rental manager who was unfortunately replaced by Cache Pasqualle. Imagine having your deposit withheld for over 7 days because of damages that everyone agreed were 'fair wear and tear'. She didn't even bother to do her homework (in and outgoing inspections) before taking on the portfolio, but instead continuously informed me of my withheld deposit AND credit balance until she received the landlord's approval. She then said that I owed Seeff Sandton money. I had no choice but to show up at their office and demand my money. She AGAIN changed her story by saying that there was no credit balance and that only the deposit would be paid, just because her supervisor was in the same room. No apology, no remorse for her lack of judgement or awareness.

If you're a prospective or current tenant, good luck. This branch is a purely ********* rental agency. Just my tough luck that my lease was 'managed' by people who know nothing about their jobs.
