Sellers and buyers who dealt with individual agents in Ladismith, Cape Town and elsewhere praise honest, professional guidance and steady updates through the transaction. Rental clients, however, report a very different picture, describing withheld or heavily reduced deposits, disputed post-inspection charges, unanswered emails, calls and WhatsApp messages, and maintenance requests that go unresolved. ************* service provider

I would definitely not recommend Seeff Pretoria East. The agent Jenna will gaslight you into believing that she is giving you good service but is in actuality ******ing you to gain profits from your monies. They decided to add 2500 cleaning fee without making me aware, and without providing me an opportunity to review their points of cleaning. The experience I have received has shown lack of care and I would advise people to find another agency to work with for rentals. I'm disappointed but I will leave with a loss.

I recently moved in to one of their units in Greenstone Malakite , the agent from seef properties has been a nightmare to work with , at first we had an issue with curtains , now the issue is the main bedroom has leak coming from the upper unit whenever it rains and we been told to speak to the owner of the units that’s leaking as it’s not their problem. We have to use buckets in our best whenever it rains yet we pay rent every month. I will not even talk about their prepaid meter system which is very inconsistent with charges, our bill went from R600 first month with 3 people in the unit to R1700 the following month with number of people in the house having reduced from 3 to 2

WORST SERVICE EVER - HOLD ONTO DEPOSIT REFUNDS WITH NO COMMUNICATION

Edenvale - WORST estate agent I have EVER rented from. Post inspection was done in person together, following which the agent did another post inspection without my presence - fabricating expenses to come off my deposit. I was promised a payment a week ago and STILL WAITING. Nobody returns emails, phone calls or whatsapp messages - you just dont get ANY feedback! Holding a person's deposit without communication! This is hard earned money and a LOT of money to be sitting on without communication. I will NEVER recommend business with SEEFF EDENVALE and particularly their agent SUSAN LOVE

Disappointing Experience with Seeff Property Management

am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Seeff Property Management. I moved out of the property at the end of February, and several months later I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. The reason repeatedly given for withholding my deposit is the DB board issue. However, this was a pre-existing problem that was identified and reported when we first moved into the property. Despite reporting it, the issue was never resolved by management. It is unfair to now hold tenants responsible for a fault that was present from the beginning and was brought to your attention. What is even more frustrating is being told that we were negligent because we did not continue reporting the same issue countless times until it was fixed. In my view, once a maintenance issue has been formally reported, it becomes the responsibility of the landlord or property manager to ensure it is addressed promptly. Tenants should not have to repeatedly chase management for repairs that were already logged. The lack of communication, delayed deposit refund, and unwillingness to take responsibility for a known maintenance issue have made this a very frustrating experience. I expected a more professional and fair approach from a property management company. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Seeff Property Management. I hope they improve their maintenance processes and treat former tenants more fairly regarding deposit refunds.

Seef Polokwane Extreme poor service

There is a maintainance Analgesic named Martin at seef Polokwane. I have reported many problems at the property they are managing. But he always ignores them and prioritize the owner in all cases. Everytimes i end up fixing the problem and invoice them then they say owner gave no permission. Currently my cars get stuck on driveway everytime it rains but does not care at all. I had no electricity for a whole week and paid people to fix but said the owner say the bill is excessive and not willing to pay a cent. Even the entire management team supports him on such cases by sending evacuation notices if you tell ask them to resolve maintainance issued. They treat tenants as if they are burgers. This is a very upsetting company which cares nothing about maintainance and customer service.
